Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care for activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor and accurately record vital signs and patient conditions
• Assist the nursing team with safe transfers, positioning, and mobility support
• Maintain clear, timely documentation to support high-quality care
• Promote a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Report changes in patient status promptly and participate in care planning

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or required depending on facility policy
• Previous CNA experience preferred; new grads are welcome to apply
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Up-to-date immunizations as required by facility policy
• Reliable attendance, strong interpersonal skills, and a patient-focused attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care and bedside skills
• Comfort with vital signs, basic clinical observations, and reporting
• Safe lifting and transfer techniques
• Clear verbal and written communication
• Basic electronic charting and documentation
• Infection prevention and control practices
• Teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced clinical setting
