Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing and toileting
• Take and record vital signs and report any changes to the nursing team
• Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
• Help maintain a clean, comfortable and dignified environment for patients
• Document care accurately and communicate effectively with colleagues and families
• Participate in care planning and follow facility infection control procedures

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Valid state-required immunizations and health screening per facility policy
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or able to obtain upon hire
• Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-focused attitude
• Ability to work night shifts and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
• Previous CNA experience preferred but new CNAs are encouraged to apply

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in basic patient care and activities of daily living
• Knowledge of infection control best practices
• Accurate vital signs measurement and documentation
• Familiarity with patient mobility and safe transfer techniques
• Strong teamwork, time management and observational skills
• Ability to document clearly in electronic or paper charting systems
