Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Monitor and record vital signs and promptly report any changes to the nursing team
• Assist with safe patient transfers, mobility, and positioning to promote comfort and prevent injury
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
• Document care accurately and communicate clearly with nurses and families
• Support a positive patient experience through empathy, respect, and timely attention

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
• Comfortable and reliable working the 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM night shift
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and team members
• Ability to perform physical aspects of the role (assisting with mobility, transfers)
• Willingness to complete facility-required background check and health screenings
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or obtained per facility policy

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred; required: CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care, ADLs, and safe patient handling
• Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
• Basic documentation and charting skills
• Understanding of infection control and hygiene best practices
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong teamwork skills
