Location: Albuquerque, NM
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Day shift (days may vary), 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $30 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to diverse adult patients
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Perform thorough assessments and document patient status in the medical record
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses, medications, and discharge instructions
- Follow infection control practices and facility policies to maintain a safe environment
- Contribute to quality improvement efforts to enhance patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or obtained upon hire
- Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM)
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide safe, patient-focused nursing care
Education
- LPN: Completion of an accredited practical nursing program (diploma or certificate)
- RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) for RN classification
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in medication administration and patient assessments
- Experience with documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Knowledge of wound care, infection control, and standard nursing procedures
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset
