Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in your assigned area
- Monitor patients, perform assessments and report changes to the care team
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document thoroughly
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists and providers to develop and follow care plans
- Support patient and family education to promote recovery and wellbeing
- Maintain safe infection control practices and adhere to facility policies
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
- Eligible Registered Nurse (RN) license considered if applicable to the role
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Comfort working 12+ hour day shifts and thriving in a fast paced environment
- Strong communication skills and a team oriented mindset
Education
- LPN: Practical nursing diploma or certificate
- RN applicants: Associate degree in Nursing or BSN if applicable
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and basic clinical skills
- Medication administration and IV/site care familiarity
- Documentation accuracy and attention to detail
- Infection control, safe patient handling and wound care basics
- Effective communication with patients, families and interdisciplinary teams
- Comfort using electronic medical record systems
