Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to patients as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per policy
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to the interdisciplinary team promptly
• Perform thorough assessments and deliver individualized care plans
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain clear, timely charting in the electronic medical record
• Support patients and families through education and empathetic communication
• Adhere to infection control and facility safety protocols at all times

Qualifications

• Current LPN or RN license in New Mexico (or eligibility for state licensure)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS or PALS as applicable or preferred
• Clinical experience in a relevant setting preferred (acute care, rehabilitation, or similar)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team
• Current immunizations and ability to pass required health screenings

Education

• LPN: Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
• RN: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent plus required clinical training

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Medication administration and IV/trauma familiarity appropriate to license
• Proficient documentation skills and comfort with electronic medical records
• Time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong interpersonal skills
