Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Variable days (schedule not specified), 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (Day shift)

Hours per Week: 38

Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to adults in a rehab/health setting
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to orders
Perform thorough patient assessments and document changes in condition
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
Support patient mobility, rehabilitation activities, and discharge planning
Maintain accurate, timely electronic health records and communicate effectively with families

Qualifications

Active LPN or RN license in New Mexico (or eligibility to obtain state licensure)
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Prior experience in medical-surgical, rehabilitation, or long-term care preferred
Strong clinical judgment, time management, and patient advocacy skills
Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass required health screenings
Friendly, team-oriented approach with excellent communication skills

Education

LPN: Completed accredited practical nursing program or diploma
RN: Completed ADN/ASN or BSN program as applicable for RN licensure

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation best practices
Ability to perform patient assessments, vitals, and focused nursing exams
Familiarity with wound care and basic restorative nursing techniques
Competence with electronic medical records and charting
Skilled at patient education and discharge instruction
Team collaboration, prioritization, and delegation skills
