Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate hands-on care for patients, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting)
- Take and record vital signs accurately and communicate any changes promptly
- Support mobility and safe transfer techniques to keep patients secure
- Assist the care team with meal assistance, feeding, and documentation of intake
- Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures
- Build trusting relationships with residents and families through respectful communication
- Document care activities clearly in the patient record to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
- Proof of ability to work in the U.S. and meet facility screening requirements
- Comfortable working the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM evening shift
- Compassionate demeanor, strong communication skills, and ability to work in a team
- Willingness to complete facility onboarding, TB/health screenings, and background checks
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an approved CNA training program and certification required
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in ADLs (activities of daily living) and supportive patient care
- Able to accurately take and record vital signs
- Basic documentation skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of infection control and safe patient handling
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with interdisciplinary teams
