Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and document residents’ vital signs and changes in condition accurately
• Support the nursing team by following care plans and reporting observations promptly
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
• Communicate respectfully and clearly with residents, families, and teammates
• Assist with mobility, feeding, and personal hygiene while promoting dignity and independence

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential — state certification required
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or must obtain upon hire
• Comfortable working night shifts and able to function in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Ability to pass background check and any required health screenings
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in basic patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
• Accurate charting and documentation skills
• Comfortable with mobility assistance and safe patient handling
• Clear communication and empathy when interacting with residents and families
