Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care as a Licensed Practical Nurse
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately per orders
• Monitor and document patient status, reporting changes promptly to the care team
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff to coordinate care
• Assist with daily living activities and promote patient comfort and dignity
• Participate in admission, transfer and discharge processes to ensure smooth transitions

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential — active license or eligible to obtain licensure in Pennsylvania
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Comfortable working independently as well as part of a collaborative team
• Strong communication skills and a patient-focused attitude
• Ability to handle routine charting and basic electronic health record tasks

Education

• Diploma or certificate in Practical Nursing (LPN vocational program or equivalent)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of nursing fundamentals, medication administration, and vital sign monitoring
• Familiarity with infection control practices and patient safety principles
• Basic clinical assessment skills and ability to escalate concerns appropriately
• Good time management and prioritization during busy shifts
• Compassionate bedside manner and cultural sensitivity
