Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Days not specified, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (Day shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $30 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct, compassionate patient care in the rehabilitation area
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Monitor and document patient vital signs, progress, and response to therapy
Collaborate with therapists and the interdisciplinary team to support recovery goals
Educate patients and families on care plans, safety, and follow-up needs
Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure regulatory compliance
Assist with care transitions and communicate changes in condition promptly

Qualifications

Current LPN or RN license valid in New Mexico (as applicable to your role)
Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification required
Experience in rehabilitation, long-term care, or a related clinical setting preferred
Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

LPN: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
RN: Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ADN/BSN) from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in patient assessment and clinical observation
Proficient with medication administration and safety protocols
Comfortable documenting care in electronic health records
Knowledge of rehabilitation nursing principles and restorative care
Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management skills
Infection control and safety mindset
