Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional critical care to BMT and oncology ICU patients, ensuring safety and dignity
- Manage ventilators and BiPAP patients with clinical precision
- Titrate vasoactive drips and manage complex infusion therapies
- Perform trach care, A-line and IV pump management, and other invasive monitoring
- Provide total patient care including turning, dressing changes, and thorough assessments
- Document care accurately in Meditech and communicate changes to physicians and the interdisciplinary team
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain the unit's 2:1 patient ratio and high standards of care
- Support unit policies and participate in rotating weekend coverage as required
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Texas (or compact RN eligible)
- Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience (strong ICU experience required)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications (required)
- Proven experience with ventilator management and titrating drips
- CRRT experience and transplant (kidney, pancreas, liver) experience preferred
- Comfort working 12-hour night shifts and rotating weekends
- Familiarity with Meditech or similar EMR preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Critical care nursing and oncology/BMT patient management
- Ventilator and BiPAP management
- Titrating vasoactive drips and IV pump management
- A-line monitoring and tracheostomy care
- CRRT operation and troubleshooting (preferred)
- Strong clinical judgment, situational awareness, and teamwork
- Accurate clinical documentation in Meditech
- Compassionate patient- and family-centered communication
