Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care at the bedside
• Assess and monitor patient condition, intervening promptly when needed
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create and implement care plans
• Provide patient and family education with clarity and empathy
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record
• Support unit flow during high-acuity periods and help orient local staff when needed

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or eligibility for compact licensure
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced certifications like ACLS or specialty credentials are a plus
• Current immunizations and compliance with facility onboarding requirements
• Comfortable working independently in fast-paced environments and adapting quickly to new teams

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical decision-making skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy competency
• Skilled in patient/family education and bedside communication
• Ability to chart accurately and timely in electronic medical records
• Team-oriented mindset with excellent collaboration skills
• Adaptability to changing unit workflows and varying patient acuity
