Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures following department protocols and regulatory standards
• Process and transmit high-quality images to PACS, ensuring fast, accurate access for clinicians
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment in accordance with safety guidelines once permit is obtained
• Provide compassionate patient care, including venipuncture and patient positioning
• Participate in PI/QC activities to support continuous improvement in imaging services
• Serve as a primary interface with patients and clinical teams to meet imaging needs effectively
• Maintain compliance with HFAP/TJC/CMS, state and federal regulations in daily practice

Qualifications

• Current CRT issued by CDPH (required)
• ARRT (R) registration (required)
• Obtain CDPH fluoroscopy permit within 6 months of hire
• Obtain venipuncture certificate within 3 months of hire
• Current BCLS / BLS (AHA) certification
• Graduate of a JRCERT or ABHES-accredited radiography program
• At least 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred
• Proficient computer skills and comfort using PACS and imaging systems
• Ability to successfully complete required screenings and competency exams

Education

• Graduate of a JRCERT- or ABHES-accredited radiography program

Knowledge & Skills

• Diagnostic radiography techniques and patient positioning
• Image processing and transmission to PACS
• Fluoroscopy fundamentals and radiation safety practices
• Regulatory compliance knowledge (HFAP/TJC/CMS/State/Federal)
• Venipuncture and basic specimen handling
• Quality improvement and PI/QC processes
• Familiarity with DCI/BVP workflows and equipment
