Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to assigned patients
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Perform thorough patient assessments and report changes promptly
Document care and observations clearly in the electronic medical record
Collaborate with nurses, providers, and interdisciplinary team members
Support patient comfort and education — be a calming, knowledgeable presence
Follow facility policies and maintain high standards for infection control

Qualifications

Current, active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain quickly
Previous LPN experience preferred; new grads with strong clinical skills welcome
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and team
Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass required background checks

Education

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN certificate/diploma) and active LPN license

Knowledge & Skills

Safe medication administration and documentation practices
Patient assessment skills and recognizing clinical changes
Familiarity with electronic medical records and basic computer use
Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork in a fast-paced setting
Time management and prioritization across multiple patient needs
