Shift Type: Per diem, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening; day shift) - schedule varies based on facility needs
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living
- Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation
- Support feeding, toileting, grooming, and bathing while preserving dignity
- Observe and document resident conditions, changes, and needs accurately
- Collaborate with nurses and the care team to follow individualized care plans
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to infection-control practices
- Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful communication
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) required or equivalent state certification
- Prior experience caring for older adults preferred but new grads from GNA programs are welcome
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background check and meet facility health/immunization requirements
- Strong communication skills, empathy, and reliable attendance
Education
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of an accredited GNA program preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic clinical skills such as taking vitals, assisting with ADLs, and reporting changes
- Comfortable with safe resident transfer techniques and use of mobility aids
- Good documentation practices and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Awareness of infection prevention, resident rights, and privacy regulations
