Shift Type: Per diem, days vary, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, evening/night shift
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to residents, helping with bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
- Assist with safe transfers and mobility support to promote independence
- Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition to the clinical team
- Document care and resident status accurately and timely in the record
- Support meal assistance and dietary needs while encouraging dignity and choice
- Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to create a comfortable, safe environment
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification or equivalent required
- CPR/BLS certification required or willing to obtain
- Maryland certification or eligibility preferred
- Previous experience working with older adults or in long-term care is a plus
- Ability to pass background checks, TB screening and required facility onboarding
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited GNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic clinical skills and hands-on experience with activities of daily living
- Knowledge of infection control and safe handling procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with residents and families
- Reliable documentation and time-management habits
- Compassion, patience and cultural sensitivity when caring for older adults
