Location: Gettysburg, PA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem, as scheduled, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Monitor and record vital signs and observations accurately
Support safe transfers and proper use of assistive devices
Communicate changes in condition to nursing staff and document care clearly
Help maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
Build positive relationships with residents, families, and the care team

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or completion of an approved CNA program
Current BLS/CPR certification where required or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background checks and drug screening per facility policy
Comfortable with night shift responsibilities and working independently on per diem assignments
Previous CNA experience preferred but new CNAs who are eager and well-trained are welcome

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong basic patient care skills and comfort assisting with ADLs
Proficient in taking and documenting vital signs
Good communication and teamwork skills with clinical staff and families
Knowledge of infection control and standard precautions
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Reliable time management and attention to detail in documentation
