Shift Type: Per diem, as scheduled, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM NOC

Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
- Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs and observations accurately
- Support safe transfers and proper use of assistive devices
- Communicate changes in condition to nursing staff and document care clearly
- Help maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and the care team
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or completion of an approved CNA program
- Current BLS/CPR certification where required or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening per facility policy
- Comfortable with night shift responsibilities and working independently on per diem assignments
- Previous CNA experience preferred but new CNAs who are eager and well-trained are welcome
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong basic patient care skills and comfort assisting with ADLs
- Proficient in taking and documenting vital signs
- Good communication and teamwork skills with clinical staff and families
- Knowledge of infection control and standard precautions
- Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
- Reliable time management and attention to detail in documentation
