Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem scheduling (days vary), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Evening shift)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients
- Assist with activities of daily living — bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
- Monitor and document patient condition, reporting changes to nursing staff
- Support safe transfers and maintain proper body mechanics
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean care environment
- Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and team members
- Help create a comfortable, respectful atmosphere that preserves patient dignity
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Valid state authorization to practice as a CNA (Pennsylvania preferred)
- CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Reliable, patient-focused attitude with strong communication skills
- Ability to perform physical aspects of the role (assistance with mobility, lifting as required)
- Previous experience in long-term care or acute care is a plus
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an accredited CNA program and active certification
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic nursing principles and resident care
- Skilled in ADLs (activities of daily living) assistance and safe patient handling
- Comfortable with vital signs monitoring and documentation
- Familiarity with infection prevention and safety procedures
- Strong teamwork, time management, and observational skills
- Ability to follow care plans and communicate changes to the care team
