Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting) with dignity and compassion
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any concerning changes to the nursing team
- Support safe mobility and positioning to prevent falls and promote comfort
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations
- Help keep patient rooms and care areas clean, organized, and stocked
- Communicate effectively with nurses, therapists, patients, and families to support coordinated care
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
- Active, unrestricted CNA license in New Mexico or eligible to obtain state certification
- Reliable, punctual, and able to manage 12+ hour day shifts
- Basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Pass required background checks and immunization/health screenings per facility policy
Education
- Completion of an approved CNA training program; high school diploma or equivalent preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on patient care and safe transfer techniques
- Monitoring and documenting vital signs accurately
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Infection control and safe hygiene practices
- Time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
- Compassionate bedside manner and respect for patient dignity
