Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Night shift, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on assigned shifts
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to orders
Monitor and document patient status, changes, and responses to interventions
Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to coordinate care
Assist with procedures, admissions, discharges, and patient transfers
Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and self-care
Maintain accurate electronic health record documentation and handoffs

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Comfortable working overnight 12-hour shifts and managing time effectively
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team
Previous LPN clinical experience preferred but new grads with clinical rotations considered

Education

Completed accredited LPN/LVN program (diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
Medication administration and documentation practices
Basic wound care and infection control principles
Electronic health record (EHR) charting proficiency
Prioritization, critical thinking, and effective communication
