Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days as scheduled), 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside care and monitor patients during overnight hours
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Assess patient status, record observations, and escalate changes to the care team
Document care thoroughly in the electronic health record
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
Support safe patient transfers, admissions, and discharges during your shift
Educate patients and families with clear, respectful communication

Qualifications

Current LPN license or vocational nursing certificate (LPN) — ability to practice in New Mexico or eligibility to obtain state licensure
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Prior experience in long-term care, rehab, or acute care is a plus
Up-to-date immunizations and ability to complete required onboarding checks
Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and compassionate bedside manner

Education

Vocational/Practical Nursing diploma or LPN certificate

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and basic nursing procedures
Vital signs monitoring and patient assessment skills
Wound care and basic dressing changes
Accurate charting and familiarity with electronic health records
Infection prevention, safety practices, and regulatory compliance
Effective communication and teamwork in a fast-paced care setting
