Candidate Pay Rate: $112500 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide prescribed medications and ensure accurate medication dispensing to support safe patient care
- Deliver medication education and counseling so patients and families understand therapy and outcomes
- Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care that supports safe, effective, and timely patient outcomes
- Maintain the highest standards of pharmacy practice and ensure compliance with applicable laws and policies
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to optimize medication therapy
- Participate in medication safety and quality improvement initiatives across the health system
- Document clinical interventions and communicate effectively to support continuity of care
Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited program (required)
- Current Kansas Pharmacist License or eligibility for licensure (highly preferred)
- Prior hospital/inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong patient counseling and communication skills
- Commitment to regulatory compliance and safe medication practices
Education
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited program

- Medication dispensing and inpatient pharmacy workflows
- Patient counseling and medication education
- Comprehensive pharmaceutical care and clinical decision-making
- Regulatory compliance with pharmacy laws and hospital policies
- Collaborating within multidisciplinary teams and supporting transitions of care
- Familiarity with hospital medication safety and quality improvement processes
