Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to assigned patients as a Licensed Practical Nurse
- Administer medications and treatments accurately, following facility policies
- Monitor patient status and promptly report changes to the care team
- Document care, observations, and communications clearly and timely
- Collaborate with RNs, providers, and interdisciplinary staff to support patient goals
- Assist with activities of daily living and promote patient comfort and dignity
- Participate in unit-based initiatives to improve patient experience and outcomes
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
- Completion of an accredited LPN program
- Previous LPN clinical experience preferred but new grads with strong clinical skills are encouraged to apply
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN / Practical Nursing program
- High school diploma or GED
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and documentation
- Basic patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
- Charting in electronic medical records with attention to detail
- Infection control practices and safe patient handling
- Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and teammates
- Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical setting
