Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, respectful personal care to residents and patients
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
• Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and resident observations
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean care environment
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and clinical staff to support care plans
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused environment that enhances resident quality of life

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) certification (class listed: LNA)
• Eligible to practice in New Hampshire (state authorization/license as required)
• Comfortable working overnight shifts and flexible per-diem scheduling
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; dependable and professional
• Previous experience in long-term care or similar settings a plus

Education

• Completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant training program (per LNA requirements)

Knowledge & Skills

• Competence in basic clinical skills: vital signs, ADL assistance, safe transfers
• Accurate documentation and attention to detail
• Infection prevention and control practices
• Ability to follow care plans and escalate changes appropriately
• Friendly, patient-centered communication and interpersonal skills
• Time management and adaptability in a fast-paced care setting
