Shift Type: Rotating nights including weekends, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (Night). Must sign up for 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule (Friday, Saturday and Sunday count as weekend shifts on night shift).
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care on the Progressive Care Unit using telemetry monitoring
- Interpret cardiac telemetry and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Accurately document assessments, interventions and patient responses in Cerner
- Serve as a compassionate advocate and educator for patients and families during hospitalization
- Assist with patient preparation for procedures such as Endoscopy, IR and OR as needed
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the relevant state or compact RN
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience; telemetry/PCU experience preferred
- BLS certification required
- Cerner EMR experience and familiarity with remote telemetry monitoring preferred
- CMSRN encouraged and considered a plus
- Charge nurse or leadership experience and BSN preferred but not mandatory
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- BSN preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong telemetry interpretation and cardiac monitoring skills
- Comfortable with Cerner Patient Observation (CPO) and bedside documentation workflows
- Proficient in medication administration, IV management and common med-surge procedures
- Excellent clinical judgment, prioritization and critical thinking on night shift
- Clear communication and teamwork with nurses, physicians and support staff
- Adaptability to float to sister units and work in a fast-paced environment
