Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Monitor and document patient status, changes, and care plans
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver coordinated care
- Support residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with patients, families, and team members
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential in good standing
- Experience (preferred) in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar settings
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
- Up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass required background checks
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Education
- Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication administration and basic wound care
- Vital signs monitoring and clinical assessment
- Accurate charting and electronic health record familiarity
- Infection control practices and safety protocols
- Teamwork, time management, and compassionate bedside manner
