Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents at Cedar Ridge Center
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Monitor and document vital signs and clinical changes with attention to detail
- Communicate clearly with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team
- Support care planning and follow-through to improve patient outcomes
- Report changes in condition promptly and escalate concerns when needed
Qualifications
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential — active and in good standing
- Ability to work the overnight shift (6:00 PM - 6:30 AM)
- Local candidates only (LOCAL ONLY) — must be able to commute to Skowhegan
- Professional attitude, strong communication skills, and a patient-first mindset
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills
- Medication administration and basic wound care knowledge
- Clear documentation practices and familiarity with care plans
- Teamwork and effective communication in a long-term care environment
- Infection control and safe patient handling principles
