Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic radiographic exams with attention to patient comfort and safety
• Position patients and equipment accurately to obtain diagnostic images
• Operate radiology equipment and PACS systems while adhering to radiation safety protocols
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and the care team to ensure timely imaging and clear communication
• Respond professionally to on-call requests and provide reliable coverage during rotation
• Document procedures and maintain accurate patient records in the electronic systems
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly

Qualifications

• Active ARRT registration (or state-equivalent radiography license) required
• Minimum 2 years of radiologic technologist experience preferred
• Willingness and ability to take call and work rotating weekends as scheduled
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Strong patient care skills and the ability to work well in a team environment

Education

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of radiographic procedures, positioning, and radiation safety
• Familiarity with PACS and digital imaging workflows
• Excellent communication and patient-assessment skills
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy shift periods
• Comfort with lifting and assisting patients as needed and maintaining professional bedside manner
