Location: Andover, MA

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Variable days, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate bedside nursing care to residents with dignity and respect
Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and facility policy
Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and report changes promptly
Document resident care accurately and timely in the electronic health record
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support individualized care plans
Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharge processes to ensure continuity of care
Support infection control and safety procedures to protect residents and staff

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Massachusetts required
BLS/CPR certification required or obtain upon hire
Previous experience in long-term care or rehab settings is a plus
Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
Comfortable with electronic charting and basic computer use
Reliable, professional, and patient-focused attitude

Education

Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program
High school diploma or equivalent required

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in medication administration and wound care basics
Knowledgeable in resident assessment, documentation, and care planning
Familiarity with infection control practices and safety standards
Good communication and teamwork skills with patients, families, and staff
Ability to prioritize tasks and respond effectively to changes in condition
