Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents at Andover Manor Rehab & Nursing
- Administer medications and treatments according to facility policy and practitioner orders
- Perform assessments and communicate changes in patient condition to the care team
- Document care accurately and timely to support continuity and quality
- Collaborate with nursing staff, therapists, and support services to deliver coordinated care
- Support resident comfort, dignity, and safety during activities of daily living
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) credential — LPN or RN candidates accepted (class listed LPN|RN)
- Current license valid for practice in Massachusetts
- Ability to work per diem shifts including the listed 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM schedule
- Clearances and required facility onboarding (background check, health screening) as part of hiring process
Education
- Completion of an accredited LPN program (or RN program if applicable) and active licensure
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong fundamentals in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
- Comfortable with resident assessments and documenting care in the chart
- Good communication and teamwork skills in a multidisciplinary setting
- Ability to prioritize and manage time during busy day shift assignments
- Empathy and professionalism when working with rehab and long-term care residents
