Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during night shifts at a skilled nursing and rehab facility
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to orders
• Monitor and document patient status, changes, and responses to interventions
• Support residents with activities of daily living and rehabilitation goals
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care
• Ensure a safe environment overnight by performing safety rounds and timely interventions
• Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, and facility staff

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts LPN or RN license (must hold one of these to apply)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or ability to obtain
• Comfortable working in long-term care / rehab settings; prior experience is a plus
• Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently overnight
• Able to meet facility health and onboarding requirements

Education

• Graduation from an accredited LPN program or nursing program appropriate to the license held (LPN or RN)

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of nursing care for rehabilitation and long-term care residents
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
• Infection control principles and resident safety
• Clear communication and teamwork in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Familiarity with electronic charting and basic computer skills
