Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem / As-needed, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Day shift)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care and daily assessments
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Document patient care, observations, and changes in condition in the chart
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and follow care plans
Support residents with activities of daily living and promote independence
Monitor and report changes in resident status to nursing leadership and providers
Practice infection control standards to maintain a safe environment for residents

Qualifications

Active LPN license in Massachusetts (RN candidates should hold an active RN license)
Current BLS/CPR certification
Prior experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehab preferred
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Reliable, professional, and committed to resident dignity and quality care

Education

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN) or accredited nursing program for RN candidates
High school diploma or GED required

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and accurate documentation
Basic patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
Wound care fundamentals and pressure injury prevention
Infection prevention and safe clinical practice
Familiarity with electronic medical records and charting
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting
