Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide skilled allied health care consistent with unit policies and patient needs
• Collaborate with nurses and multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless patient care
• Assess patients, document findings, and escalate concerns in a timely manner
• Operate and maintain equipment safely and report issues promptly
• Educate patients and families with compassion and clear explanations
• Contribute to a positive unit culture by supporting colleagues and sharing expertise

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant allied health experience (explicit requirement)
• Current/active state licensure or certification appropriate to your allied specialty (or eligibility for Florida licensure)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required; specialty certifications preferred where applicable
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on night shift and collaborate across teams
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and patient-centered focus

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certificate or associate degree in allied health preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical assessment and documentation skills
• Proficiency with standard allied health equipment and safety practices
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Comfortable with electronic medical records and basic computer navigation
• Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills
