Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide skilled allied health care consistent with unit policies and patient needs
- Collaborate with nurses and multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless patient care
- Assess patients, document findings, and escalate concerns in a timely manner
- Operate and maintain equipment safely and report issues promptly
- Educate patients and families with compassion and clear explanations
- Contribute to a positive unit culture by supporting colleagues and sharing expertise
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant allied health experience (explicit requirement)
- Current/active state licensure or certification appropriate to your allied specialty (or eligibility for Florida licensure)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) required; specialty certifications preferred where applicable
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on night shift and collaborate across teams
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and patient-centered focus
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certificate or associate degree in allied health preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Proficiency with standard allied health equipment and safety practices
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Comfortable with electronic medical records and basic computer navigation
- Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills
