Roles & Responsibilities

Provide skilled nursing care during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
Circulate for cases with a strong focus on Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, and General Surgery
Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perioperative staff to support smooth, efficient care
Maintain accurate, timely patient documentation using EPIC to support clinical continuity and compliance

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) with Operating Room experience
Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
Prior experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center
EPIC experience required
Current BCLS certification

Knowledge & Skills

Operating Room workflows and perioperative best practices
Circulating techniques across Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, and General Surgery cases
Strong collaboration and communication with surgical teams and anesthesia
Accurate clinical documentation within EPIC
Patient safety, sterile technique, and surgical instrumentation familiarity
