Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to assigned patients during the night shift
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document care thoroughly
• Monitor patient condition and report changes to the care team promptly
• Support admissions, discharges and transfers smoothly and professionally
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians and interdisciplinary staff to deliver safe, patient-centered care
• Assist in maintaining a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols
• Float to other areas as needed to meet patient care demands and broaden your experience

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Pennsylvania (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain upon hire)
• Ability to work nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) and commit to every-other-weekend rotation
• Comfort with floating to different units or areas as staffing needs dictate
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent diploma

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and bedside care techniques
• Medication administration and accurate clinical documentation
• Basic wound care and hygiene assistance
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Effective communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Adaptability to float between units and handle varying patient needs
