Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional NICU care including advanced neonatal ventilator support
- Manage well-baby coverage and collaborate across multiple Saint Luke's locations
- Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient and family outcomes
- Deliver family-centered care and engage with resources like Angel Eye remote NICU monitoring
- Contribute to unit education, mentor colleagues and support the new-grad program
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team at a regional perinatal referral center to ensure safe, high-quality care
Qualifications
- Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) — required (cannot accept PAs, FNP, PNP, or other NP certifications)
- New graduates welcome — tailored new-grad program and one-on-one mentorship available
- Experience or comfort with NICU ventilator support and Level II/III neonatal care (preferred but new grads encouraged)
- Willingness to engage in unit QI, education and family-centered care initiatives
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong NICU clinical skills and neonatal ventilator management
- Well-baby care and neonatal assessment
- Family-centered care approach and experience with remote monitoring (Angel Eye)
- Quality improvement, unit education, mentorship and precepting skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary neonatal team
