Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team promptly
• Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility and toileting while preserving dignity
• Perform accurate documentation of care, vitals and resident interactions
• Support safe transfers and use of assistive devices to reduce fall risk
• Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care
• Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification — Travel CNA experience a plus
• Eligible or current New Mexico CNA license preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Ability to pass background check and drug screen
• Reliable, professional attitude and strong teamwork skills

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assisting with ADLs and safe patient handling
• Comfortable with basic clinical observations and reporting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with residents and families
• Reliable documentation practices and time management on longer shifts
• Familiarity with infection prevention and facility safety procedures
