Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during night shifts, ensuring safety and comfort
• Perform thorough assessments and timely interventions to stabilize and manage patient conditions
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and follow treatment plans with precision and care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and prepare patients for transitions
• Document patient status and care accurately in the electronic medical record
• Support patients and families with clear communication, education, and empathy during challenging times

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico or compact RN eligible
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred or as required by unit
• Recent clinical experience in acute care or med-surg; travel nursing experience a plus
• Ability to work scheduled night shifts (Tue-Thu) and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse care teams
• Ability to pass facility onboarding requirements and background checks

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Medication administration and IV therapy competence
• Familiarity with common acute care procedures and protocols
• Comfortable with electronic charting and clinical documentation
• Effective teamwork, prioritization, and time management skills
• Patient education and bedside manner that promotes trust and recovery
