Shift Type: Sunday-Thursday, 7:45 AM - 4:15 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform independent bedside swallow evaluations and follow-up care
Conduct communication evaluations and provide ongoing treatment
Administer outpatient standardized tests to assess patient needs
Treat a diverse caseload including post-concussion, CVA, TBI, and head & neck cancer patients
Collaborate with rehab aides and interdisciplinary teams across inpatient and outpatient settings

Qualifications

Current CCC-SLP certification required
BLS certification required
COVID vaccine required
Ability to work independently in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Experience with bedside swallow evaluations and standardized testing preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Bedside swallow evaluation expertise
Communication evaluation proficiency
Outpatient standardized test administration
Experience with acute inpatient, acute rehab, skilled nursing, and outpatient populations
Comfort working at a Level 2 Trauma Center and Certified Primary Stroke Center
