Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Flexible 4-hour shifts; exact start/end times and scheduled days to be confirmed (4 hours per shift; orientation provided)

Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess speech, language, swallowing, and communication needs using evidence-based tools
Develop individualized treatment plans that make a tangible difference for each child
Provide skilled therapy and adjust approaches based on progress and family input
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate holistic care
Document progress clearly and timely in the patient record
Educate families and caregivers with practical strategies to reinforce gains at home
Participate in orientation and help maintain a compassionate, patient-first culture

Qualifications

State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (required)
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
Experience with pediatric populations preferred; new grads with strong clinical training are welcome
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background checks and required immunizations

Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (typical requirement for SLP roles)

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in pediatric speech, language, and swallowing assessment
Experience with individualized treatment planning and progress measurement
Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) approaches
Strong collaboration and family education skills
Comfortable with electronic health record documentation and clinical reporting
