Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Location: Durango, CO

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Variable days, 4x10-hour shifts, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM; includes call 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality general, OB/GYN, and vascular ultrasound exams
Assist with procedures including drains and biopsies
Ensure accurate documentation and image archiving in EPIC and Fuji PACS
Provide compassionate patient care and clear communication
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

Current ARDMS certification (RDMS in General or OB/GYN); RVT preferred, RDCS a bonus
BLS certification required
Minimum 1-2 years of recent ultrasound experience in a hospital setting
Proficiency in performing procedures such as drains and biopsies
Experience with Phillips equipment and EPIC EMR preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong skills in general, OB/GYN, and vascular sonography
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
Proficient in EPIC and PACS systems
