Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to adult patients in a blended Oncology PCU and MedSurg unit
Administer chemotherapy and monitor patients for side effects and response
Titrate intravenous drips such as heparin and cardizem as ordered
Perform hemodynamic monitoring including CVP and arterial line readings
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and social workers
Conduct hourly rounding to ensure patient safety and satisfaction

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Minimum 1 year of recent PCU or Oncology experience
ACLS and BLS certifications
ONS/ONCC certification preferred
Chemotherapy certification required
EPIC experience within the last 6 months (preferred but not required)
Valid driver's license for verification of residency

Knowledge & Skills

Chemotherapy administration and safe handling
Drip titration and medication management
Hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation
EPIC electronic medical record system
Ability to float to MedSurg and PCU units as needed
