Shift Type: Varied 8-hour shifts between 8:30 AM and 7:00 PM, Monday-Friday with occasional weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide acute care physical therapy across medsurg, tele, ICU, oncology, and cardiology units
Deliver specialized care for orthopedic and total joint patients, including post-surgical rehab
Manage ventilated patients in the ICU, collaborating with critical care teams
Cover a wide variety of patient populations, from cardiac surgeries to oncology
Work autonomously with a brief orientation - we need someone ready to hit the ground running
Occasionally float to outpatient if needed (though primarily inpatient)

Qualifications

Active California Physical Therapist license (required)
Current BLS certification (required)
Minimum 2 years of acute care PT experience
Strong experience with ortho, total joints, ICU, and ventilated patients
Proficiency with Cerner EMR
Ability to adapt quickly and work independently

Knowledge & Skills

Acute care physical therapy across multiple units
Orthopedic and total joint rehabilitation
ICU and ventilated patient management
Medsurg, oncology, and cardiology patient care
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to handle a varied caseload
