Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts available (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to oncology and trauma PCU patients, from diagnosis through recovery
Monitor and manage titratable drips such as insulin and cardizem
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including PT/OT, case management, and social work
Float to med/surg and PCU units as needed, ensuring continuity of care
Administer chemotherapy and maintain ONS/ONCC certification standards
Participate in hourly rounding to enhance patient experience

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Minimum 1 year of PCU and oncology experience
ACLS and BLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC certification and chemotherapy certified required
First-time travelers welcome!
EPIC experience preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Chemotherapy administration and handling
Ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, Aline, Swan, EV-1000)
EPIC electronic medical record proficiency
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Team player with a positive attitude
