Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (day/night), 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the Progressive Care Unit
Monitor cardiac rhythms, titrate drips, and manage continuous EEG monitoring
Collaborate with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on diagnoses and treatment plans
Maintain a positive attitude and strong communication in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska or compact state
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU or telemetry experience preferred
Ability to work every other weekend and rotating holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cardiac and stroke patient care
Proficient in telemetry monitoring and drip titration
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Adaptability to float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed
