Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient physical therapy to both pediatric and adult patients with conditions like developmental delay, autism, torticollis, and orthopedic issues
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and create individualized treatment plans
• Utilize a warm water therapy pool for specialized aquatic therapy sessions
• Occasionally assist with acute inpatient consults as needed
• Collaborate with a dedicated PTA and other rehab team members for coordinated care
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with facility standards

Qualifications

• Active Colorado Physical Therapist license (or compact privilege) required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• At least some pediatric experience is highly valued - we welcome therapists who love working with kids
• Comfortable treating a mix of outpatient and occasional inpatient cases
• Must be able to work within a 60-mile radius (local candidates preferred, but travelers welcome)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong background in pediatric physical therapy, including developmental delays and autism spectrum disorders
• Proficiency in orthopedic outpatient therapy for adults
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Ability to self-schedule and manage a flexible caseload of 8-10 patients per day
• Familiarity with aquatic therapy is a bonus
