Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including weekends and holidays; schedule released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients across multiple medical-surgical telemetry units
Float within Zone 3 facilities including OrthoColorado, Longmont United, St. Anthony, and St. Anthony North Hospitals
Manage patients with diverse diagnoses: cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, renal, and more
Administer medications, titrate heparin drips, and monitor telemetry
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to new environments and unit cultures as a float pool RN

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Medical-Surgical Telemetry experience
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Experience with heparin titration and telemetry monitoring
Prior neuro experience preferred
Willingness to float within a 60-mile radius zone and across multiple facilities

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills
Ability to float and adapt to various units and specialties
Proficiency in telemetry interpretation and drip management
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexibility and reliability in a fast-paced environment
