Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Sonographer

Location: Durango, Colorado

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4 10-hour shifts, variable days, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, with call 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality General, OBGYN, and Vascular ultrasound studies
Conduct procedures including drains and biopsies with precision
Deliver compassionate care to a diverse patient population
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams for optimal outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation using Fuji EPIC systems
Ensure patient safety and comfort during every scan

Qualifications

Current RDMS certification in General or OBGYN
BLS certification required
RVT preferred, RDCS a bonus
Strong experience in General and OBGYN ultrasound
Vascular experience highly valued
Procedure experience essential

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with Phillips ultrasound equipment
Comfortable performing 8-10+ scans per day
Familiar with Fuji EPIC EMR and PACS
Skilled in General, OBGYN, and Vascular imaging
Able to handle procedures, drains, and biopsies
