Location: Dickinson, North Dakota

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling, every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate one-on-one care to laboring mothers and their newborns
Monitor and titrate critical medications like Magnesium and Oxytocin with precision
Support families through the beautiful journey of childbirth and postpartum recovery
Collaborate with providers during C-sections to ensure safe deliveries
Float to other units when needed to lend a helping hand and support patients
Maintain accurate documentation using the OB Trace Vue system

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
Comfortable working independently in a rural hospital setting

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of Labor and Delivery protocols
Experience with postpartum couplet care
Ability to titrate drips confidently
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Adaptable to floating and helping hands assignments
